Colonel John Jacob Astor IV (1864–1912) was one of the wealthiest men in the world and a First Class passenger on the Titanic. He helped his pregnant wife Madeleine into a lifeboat but stayed aboard himself and did not survive.

Captain Edward John Smith (1850–1912), the White Star Line's most senior commander, took the Titanic on her maiden voyage. Renowned for decades of calm authority, he grew strangely hesitant in her final hours and went down with his ship.
Quigg Edmond Baxter – Titanic 1st Class Victim
Quigg Edmond Baxter (1887–1912), a Montreal athlete and coach, travelled First Class with his mother and put her — along with the woman he loved — into a lifeboat before going down with the Titanic himself.
Charles Edward Dahl – Titanic 3rd Class Survivor
Charles Edward Dahl was a Norwegian third-class passenger aboard the Titanic. He survived the sinking in Lifeboat 15. This artwork commemorates his journey from Norway to Australia, his voyage on the Titanic and his survival after one of history’s most famous maritime disasters.
Julian Padron Manent – Titanic 2nd Class Survivor
Julian Padron Manent was a Spanish second class passenger aboard the Titanic, travelling home to Havana, Cuba, where he worked as a chauffeur. He survived the sinking, likely in Lifeboat 9, and this artwork commemorates his journey from Catalonia to a new life in Cuba.
Miriam Kantor – Titanic 2nd Class Survivor
Miriam Kantor was a Russian-born second class passenger aboard the Titanic, travelling with her husband Sinai Kantor to begin a new life and studies in the United States. She survived the sinking, but her husband did not, and this artwork commemorates her journey from Vitebsk to New York.
Servando Jose Florentino Ovies y Rodriguez – Titanic 1st Class Victim
Servando Jose Florentino Ovies y Rodriguez was a Cuban-based Spanish first class passenger aboard the Titanic, a merchant travelling on business for his family's Havana import company. He died in the sinking at the age of 36, and this artwork commemorates his life between Spain and Cuba.
Thomas William Solomon Brown – Titanic 2nd Class Victim
Thomas William Solomon Brown, a South African hotel manager from Cape Town, travelled second class on the Titanic with his wife and daughter. He placed them safely in lifeboat 14 and remained on board, perishing in the sinking. This artwork commemorates his life and sacrifice.
Edith Eileen Brown – Titanic 2nd Class Survivor
Edith Eileen Brown, born in Cape Town, South Africa, travelled second class on the Titanic with her parents. Rescued in lifeboat 14 with her mother, she survived the sinking, lost her father Thomas, and went on to live to the age of 100. This artwork commemorates her remarkable life.
Alden Gates Caldwell – Titanic 2nd Class Survivor
Alden Gates Caldwell was a ten-month-old second class passenger aboard the Titanic, born in Siam (Thailand) to American parents Albert Francis and Sylvia Mae Caldwell. He survived the sinking after being handed into a lifeboat, and this artwork commemorates his family's journey home and his long later life in the United States.
Elizabeth Catherine Brown – Titanic 2nd Class Survivor
Elizabeth Catherine Brown, from Cape Colony, South Africa, travelled second class on the Titanic with her husband Thomas and daughter Edith. She was placed in lifeboat 14 and survived, though her husband perished. This artwork commemorates her survival and later life.
Antti Wilhelm Sivola – Titanic 3rd Class Victim
Antti Wilhelm Sivola, a young Finnish labourer, travelled third class on the Titanic to start a new life in Mountain Home, Idaho. He died when the ship sank, and his body was never recovered. This artwork commemorates his unfulfilled journey.
Ahmed Ali – Titanic 3rd Class Victim
Ahmed Ali, a Syrian/Lebanese labourer who had settled in Buenos Aires, Argentina, travelled third class on the Titanic. He died when the ship sank, and his body was never identified. This artwork commemorates his life and loss.
Berthe Antonine Mayné – Titanic 1st Class Survivor
Berthe Antonine Mayné, a Belgian cabaret singer, travelled first class on the Titanic under the assumed name "Mrs de Villiers" with hockey player Quigg Baxter. Rescued in lifeboat 6, her extraordinary story was only believed after her death. This artwork commemorates her survival.
Josef Peruschitz – Titanic 2nd Class Victim
Father Josef Peruschitz, a Benedictine monk from Bavaria, travelled Second Class aboard the Titanic to take up a teaching post in Minnesota. He gave spiritual comfort to the dying during the sinking and did not survive. This artwork honours his sacrifice.
Joseph Bruce Ismay – Titanic 1st Class Survivor
Joseph Bruce Ismay, chairman of the White Star Line, travelled First Class on the Titanic's maiden voyage. He survived by boarding Collapsible Lifeboat C, a decision that shadowed the rest of his life. This artwork honours his place in the Titanic story.
Margaret Brown – Titanic 1st Class Survivor
Margaret Tobin Brown, a philanthropist and social reformer from Denver, travelled First Class on the Titanic. She survived in Lifeboat 6, helped row through the night, and went on to organise relief for fellow survivors. This artwork honours her courage and legacy.
Leo Zimmermann – Titanic 3rd Class Victim
Leo Zimmermann (1883–1912), a farmer from Todtmoos in the Black Forest, was travelling Third Class to start a new life with his brothers in Saskatoon, Canada. He died in the sinking; his body was never recovered.
Francisco Mauro Severiano Carrau – Titanic 1st Class Victim
Francisco Mauro Severiano Carrau, a Uruguayan businessman from Montevideo, travelled First Class aboard the Titanic with his relative José Pedro Carrau. He did not survive the sinking. This artwork honours his memory.
Thomas Andrews – Titanic 1st Class Victim
Thomas Andrews, chief designer of the Titanic and leader of the Guarantee Group, travelled First Class from Belfast to oversee her maiden voyage. He worked to save passengers until the end and did not survive. This artwork honours his dedication.
